No. 8 Men's Gymnastics Hosts William & Mary on Saturday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – No. 8 Penn State hosts William & Mary for a non-conference men's gymnastics meet Saturday at Rec Hall. The meet is scheduled for 4 p.m., and will stream live on BTN Plus.

SERIES HISTORY
• Penn State is 10-0 all-time against William & Mary in a series that started in 1984.
• The teams last competed in 2010. They will meet up again this season in Williamsburg, Virginia, on Saturday, March 14.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
Penn State ranks eighth nationally with a three-score average of 402.967, while William & Mary ranks 15th at 381.600.

LAST TIME OUT
Penn State improved to a perfect 9-0 with a 399.600-375.850 win at Air Force on Feb. 1. Stephen Nedoroscik won pommel horse with a nation-leading score of 15.9. He was named the CGA National Gymnast and Specialist of the Week and the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week. Robbie Shamp was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after winning on vault and floor. Sam Zakutney took first on parallel bars, while Andres Perez Gines and Alex Frack shared the title on high bar.

SCOUTING WILLIAM & MARY
William & Mary is 4-6 after a 402.000-384.450 loss at Navy on Jan. 25. The Tribe earned their best overall score of the season and had their best scores of the season on rings (63.8), parallel bars (64.65) and high bar (62.5).

A LOOK AT THE BIG TEN STANDINGS
Penn State, Michigan and Minnesota are all tied for first at 1-0 in the Big Ten standings. Illinois and Nebraska are each 1-1, Iowa is 0-1, and Ohio State is 0-2.
