UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's and women's lacrosse will be featured on at least eight national broadcasts after the Big Ten announced its spring TV schedule. The men's team is currently ranked No. 2 in the USILA Poll, while the women's team is Np. 19 in the IWLCA Coaches Poll.
The Penn State men's lacrosse team will be featured on the Big Ten Network at least three times and on ESPNU once during the regular season. Additionally, both the semifinals and championship of the Big Ten Tournament, hosted by the Nittany Lions at Panzer Stadium, will air on BTN. Penn State's home game against Maryland on Sunday, March 29, and a road game at Ohio State on Sunday, April 5, will air on BTN. The Nittany Lions' home game against Michigan on Sunday, April 19, will be on ESPNU. Penn State already made one appearance on BTN, against Yale.
The Penn State women's lacrosse team will be shown on four national broadcasts. The first will be at Rutgers on Thursday, March 26 at 5 p.m. on Big Ten Network. Penn State's matchup against No. 14 Michigan on Thursday, April 2 will be broadcast on BTN at 7 p.m. The Nittany Lions will be featured a third time on Big Ten Network when they take on No. 3 Maryland on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. Penn State will also be on a national broadcast on Thursday, April 9 when they take on Ohio State at 6 p.m. on ESPNU. The Big Ten semifinals on Friday, May 1 and Championship game on Sunday, May 3 will also be broadcast on Big Ten Network.
All other Nittany Lion home events will be streamed on BTN Plus.
