Hill Signs with Chesapeake Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Chesapeake Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse announced on Tuesday the signing of midfielder Kevin Hill, who recently wrapped up an outstanding career with Penn State Men's Lacrosse.

Hill totaled 84 points on 66 goals and 18 assists while playing 53 games for Penn State. He added 31 ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Hill had a breakout junior season with the Nittany Lions in 2018, posting career highs in goals (25) and assists (7). The season was highlighted by a four-goal showing in a win over Stony Brook.

Unfortunately, Hill lost his next season to injury, but he chose to battle back and return to State College for a fifth year. In the seven games played this season, he scored seven goals, including two man-up scores, and had a .467 shooting percentage. He recorded a hat trick while taking just four shots against Cornell.

Hill excelled in man-up opportunities, scoring 18 goals, including a team-high seven as a sophomore.

Based in Annapolis, Maryland, the Bayhawks are the defending champions in Major League Lacrosse. They have won six titles since the inaugural 2001 season, more than any other MLL franchise.

Hill joins former Penn State teammate Ryan Keenan on the Bayhawks roster. Keenan was originally drafted by the Ohio Machine in the sixth round in 2018.
