STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - On May 28, 2000, Penn State won both ends of a doubleheader against North Carolina to advance to the NCAA Super Regional. Leading the effort was a freshman pitcher named Kevin Damiano, who closed out the first game, and then stayed hot in between games to make his first career start in the second an hour later. Brian Tripp caught up with Damiano to discuss that special day in Penn State baseball history.
