Kieger Announces Two Staff Additions

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's basketball head coach Carolyn Kieger has announced the additions of Sean Bair and Tyler Dandridge to the staff ahead of the 2020-21 season. Bair will serve as Director of Video and Analytics while Dandridge will take on the role of Director of Recruiting Operations and Player Development.

Bair comes to Happy Valley after a stint as a graduate assistant coach with Arkansas men's basketball. While with the Razorbacks, he worked extensively on recruiting graphics, logistical organization, camp and strategic research, while assisting in several other aspects of the program. Prior to his time at Arkansas, Bair was the head boys basketball coach at New Oxford (Pa.) High School from 2013-19, earning 2019 GameTimePA Coach of the Year honors. His team was 9-35 in his first two seasons, but finished with three-straight winning seasons, including two trips to PIAA 5A postseason in 2017 and '18 and posting 20-plus wins in 2018 and '19. A Gettysburg native, Bair earned his bachelor's degree in History from Dickinson College in 2012 and is working towards a master's degree in Adult and Lifelong Learning from Arkansas.

"Sean brings a wealth of experience from different levels of coaching," Kieger said. "His Pennsylvania basketball ties run deep. We know he will be a great asset to our program. Please help us welcome him and his wife Alex to our family."

Dandridge comes to Penn State after two seasons as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations at Norfolk State. Dandridge helped the Spartans to back-to-back winning seasons during his time at Norfolk State, and was responsible for scheduling, travel logistics, practice management, academic monitoring, scouting and player development. Dandridge previously held assistant coaching roles with Motlow State Community College Women's Basketball (2017-18) and Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball (2016-17). He also brings experience as a coach at the AAU level with the Boo Williams BWSL 16U Gold team. Originally from Richmond, Va., Dandridge graduated from Old Dominion University in 2016 with a degree in Occupational and Technical Studies, with a concentration in marketing education. He served as a student manager for both the men's and women's basketball programs while at ODU. Dandridge also holds a master's degree in Sports Leadership from the VCU School of Sports Leadership.

"Tyler is a fantastic addition to our staff," said Kieger. "He has worked at every level of our game and brings great energy. His knowledge and work ethic will immediately help our program get to another level. Please help us welcome Tyler to the Penn State family."
