UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania – The Penn State men's volleyball team was ranked first in the preseason edition of the 2021 EIVA Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions received five-of-six first place votes to top the poll with NJIT receiving the other lone first-place vote.

Penn State's 2020 season ended with an 11-8 overall record and a perfect 7-0 in EIVA play to before the abrupt halt of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Nittany Lions were ranked number 11 in the nation in the NVA/AVCA DI-II Preseason Coaches poll release last week. Penn State ended the 2020 season ranked tenth.
Penn State's roster features 12 returners from last season's team, including EIVA Uvaldo Acosta Memorial Co-Player of the Year Brett Wildman and All-EIVA honorees Will Bantle, Cole Bogner and Cal Fisher.
