Women’s Gymnastics Meet Against Maryland Moved To Sunday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's gymnastics' season-opening meet against Maryland has been moved to Sunday, January 17 at 5 p.m. The meet will be broadcasted live on Big Ten Network.

The Nittany Lions, led by Head Coach Sarah Brown, are ranked 27th in the WCGA Preseason Poll.

Penn State's contest against Maryland begins a nine-meet regular season schedule, all against Big Ten Conference members. However, this meet will be counted as a non-conference matchup.

The Nittany Lions will look to extend a four-meet home streak with scores above a 196.000. Penn State had a strong season at home in 2020, averaging a 196.230 in five meets, its highest at Rec Hall since 2015.

Under current Big Ten guidelines, public tickets will not be sold for 2021 Penn State Women's Gymnastics home meets.
