Big Ten Announces Women’s Soccer Spring Schedule

Opens in a new window 2021 Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Big Ten conference has announced an 11-game conference slate for the 2021 women's soccer spring schedule on Friday afternoon.

"We are thrilled to finally announce the 2021 spring schedule. To have the opportunity to represent our institution again is something we have been looking forward to for a long time. This spring schedule wouldn't have been possible without the tireless efforts of our administration, sports medicine staff and the Big Ten Conference. Our student-athletes have been absolutely fantastic navigating through these uncharted waters, and I cannot wait to get to see them compete again. WE ARE!" Head coach Erica Dambach said.

The 2021 campaign features six games against division opponents and five games against crossover opponents.

The Nittany Lions will begin the season with three consecutive road games starting with Rutgers on February 20 in Piscataway.

The road trip continues on February 25 against Northwestern and concludes on Sunday, February 28 against Illinois.

Indiana visits Happy Valley for the first home game of the season on March 4. The Spartans of Michigan State come to Penn State for the second home game of the year on March 7.

The Nittany Lions are back on the road at Ohio State on March 13. Penn State returns home to host Minnesota and Michigan on March 18 and 21, respectively.

Two more road games at Iowa (March 25) and at Nebraksa (March 28) following the homestand.

Penn State concludes the regular season by hosting Maryland on April 3.

All dates are subject to change. Start times and potential broadcast designations will be announced at a later date.

Under current Big Ten guidance, the general public, beyond student-athletes' families, will not be permitted for 2020-21 Penn State women's soccer home games.
