Women’s Gymnastics Adds Beckwith To 2021 Signing Class

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Women's Gymnastics team added Nikki Beckwith to its 2021 signing class on Wednesday. The Ohio native signed her National Letter of Intent to become one of four members of the recruiting class.
 
Beckwith joins Jessica Johanson, Bella Salcedo and Elina Vihrova, who all signed in November 2020, in the 2021 class. The class now includes one member each from Connecticut, Ohio, Texas and Latvia.
 
The Nittany Lions, led by Head Coach Sarah Brown, travel to Minnesota on Saturday to continue its 2021 Big Ten schedule. The meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Big Ten Network+.

Beckwith competed at Buckeye Gymnastics for head coach Kittia Carpenter…Helped Buckeye Gymnastics to win the Ohio State Championship in 2017…Won the bars title at the 2019 Region Championships…Placed sixth on beam at the 2019 Ohio State Level 10 Championships…Was a Junior National Elite Qualifier in 2018, placing among the top three on all events.
