These terms and information govern your participation in the Nittany Lion Feedback Program (“NLFP” or “Program”). By applying for and participating in the NLFP, you are agreeing to these terms, so please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not apply or participate in the Program.
 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

  1. What information is being collected?

To participate in the Program, you may be asked to provide personal information such as name, email address, phone number, and other personal information. You may also be asked questions about behaviors, preferences, history, and other topics that we may use to better understand the Penn State fan base at large.
 
By participating in the NLFP, you consent to our use of all information, ideas, responses, and feedback that you provide as part of the NLFP in the following manner, without payment to you:

  1. To create de-identified, aggregate feedback from all NLFP participants;
  2. For our internal business purposes, and any other purpose we choose, provided that we will not identify you personally; and
  3. To make it publicly available and to identify you by your first name, geographic location, or other information that does not otherwise identify you personally. 

In addition, we may use your personal information in connection with your feedback with your prior consent.

  1.  As a participant, am I expected to share information, links, or content with others?

Your participation in the Program is intended for your personal use and personal consumption only. You are not expected to share links, topics being asked, invitations, or other information with others.

  1. What level of participation is expected?

We value your opinions and feedback, and thus you are encouraged to participate in surveys every time you receive one. The number of surveys you receive may vary each month. Please note that there is high demand from our fans to participate, and we reserve the right to suspend or replace your participation if we notice a long-term pattern of non-participation to give other fans a chance to participate. We will notify you in advance if we plan to terminate your membership in the NLFP due to non-participation..

  1. Who is allowed to join and participate in the Program?

Fans are to be formally invited to apply to the NLFP to enable Penn State Athletics to create a Program that is intentionally representative of our entire fan base, including many different ages, tenures, and types of fans. All participants in the Program must be at least 18 years of age.

  1. What interactions are permitted among members of the Program?

If you believe certain members are acting in a manner detrimental to the program, please email us at NLFP@psu.edu.

  1. Who should I contact if I no longer want to participate in the program?

This Code of Conduct governs your participation in the Nittany Lion Feedback Program (“NLFP” or “Program”). By applying for and participating in the Nittany Lion Feedback Program, you are agreeing to abide by the Code of Conduct, so please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not apply or participate in the Program.

CODE OF CONDUCT

This is the code of conduct that every participant agrees to adhere to.
 
You will be frequently asked to offer your opinion on a variety of topics related to Penn State Athletics, The Pennsylvania State University, your fan experience, or other general behaviors and preferences. Please try to keep your responses organized to the specific topic being asked.
 
We will always be asking for honest and transparent responses, both positive and negative, to allow for Penn State Athletics to best improve our business, fan experience, strategy, and more to best serve both our student-athletes and our fan base. Remember that words and responses submitted in high emotion may be more reactionary than long term or constructive opinions, so please do your best to keep your feedback as calm and constructive as possible.
 
We have chosen you to be a participant in the Program for a reason, and do not intend for invitations, survey links, topics being shared, or any other content to be shared with the general public. We expect all participants to keep invitations, surveys, questions, and similar content confidential to only members of the Program. We will monitor online forums and social media for potential sharing of information, and will notify members who breach this expectation.
 
By participating in the NLFP, you agree to not submit feedback, answers, or information containing any following:

  1. Language that is harassing, threatening, or directed at a specific person.
  2.  Language that is vulgar, obscene, or indecent.
  3. Statements that are bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive.
  4. Responses that advocate illegal activity or illegal intentions.
  5. Advertisements or any form of commercial solicitation.

Responses to any surveys that violate the above terms will be carefully reviewed, and members who do so will be notified upon each violation. Depending on the nature or repetition of the violations, Penn State Athletics may terminate or replace a participant.
