No. 5 Men's Gymnastics Hosts No. 4 Illinois in B1G Meet on Sunday

Fifth-ranked Penn State is set to host fourth-ranked Illinois in a Big Ten men's gymnastics meet Sunday at Rec Hall. The meet is scheduled for 3 p.m. and is available to stream on Big Ten Network+.

Penn State enters at 1-0 after opening the season with a convincing win over Army West Point two weeks ago. Illinois is 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Big Ten with wins over Northern Illinois and Ohio State.

SERIES HISTORY
• Penn State leads 15-11 in the all-time series with Illinois.

• Illinois is 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Big Ten following a 402.55-396.25 win over Ohio State.
• The Illini rank third in the nation on vault, parallel bars and high bar.
•  Evan Manivong ranks first in the nation on vault with an NQA of 14.65. His 14.75 against Ohio State is the second best in the nation this season.
• Hamish Carter ranks fourth in the nation all-around with an NQA of 80.5.
