UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Four Penn State players were named to the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Team on Tuesday. Mac O'Keefe was a second-team selection, Nick Cardile made the third team, and Gerard Arceri and Jack Kelly were honorable mentions.
O'Keefe ranks seventh in NCAA history with 192 goals and needs just 20 to become the sport's all-time leader. Arceri is one of the most prolific faceoff specialists in program history. The two-time third-team All-American ranks first all-time at Penn State and is sixth in NCAA history with 509 ground balls. He is also the program record holder with 779 faceoff wins.
Kelly, a do-it-all midfielder for the Lions, was a third-team All-American in 2019. He has totaled 70 points on 58 goals and 12 assists while adding 24 ground balls and two caused turnovers in 28 games played. He has started each of the team's past 22 games.
