LAST TIME OUT
The Nittany Lions stumbled on the road last weekend losing a pair of matches to Iowa and Nebraska.

Penn State began the road trip with a 5-2 loss to Iowa with the Nittany Lions' two points coming from wins from standout freshmen Karly Friedland (Hollywood, Fla.) and Alexandra Nielsen (Vancouver, BC, Canada).

Against #46 Nebraska, the Nittany Lions got off to fast start with one their most impressive doubles performances of the season. The Cornhuskers stormed back, winning four of six singles matches with Penn State's sole win coming from another impressive freshman, Sofiya Chekhlystova (Talinn, Estonia) as the Nittany Lions dropped to 5-4 on the season.

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
The Buckeyes began the season going 3-2 in a tough out of conference schedule with wins over a trio of now-ranked opponents including #13 Georgia Tech, #14 Virginia, and #50 Syracuse.

Ohio State is loaded with talent in the doubles and singles lineups. In doubles, the duo of Kolie Allen and Isabelle Boulais have been dominant carrying a 7-1 record in the No. 1 spot with their sole loss coming to Georgia Tech. The pairing of Luna Dormet and Irina Cantos Siemers currently carry and undefeated record, going 6-0 in the No. 3 spot. The Buckeyes also carry three singles players to watch. Dormet has been primarily playing in the No. 5 and 6 spots and currently holds an 11-1 record on the year. Lucia Marzal has also performed exceptionally in the back end of the lineup with a 12-2 record overall and seven consecutive wins. #78 Cantos Siemers has also been a consistent presence in the No. 1 spot, holding an 11-4 record overall and 8-4 record in dual matches.
