No. 10 Men's Volleyball To Battle Charleston at Home

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania – The 10th-ranked Penn State men's volleyball team plays host for another EIVA series this coming weekend, this time against the University of Charleston, March 5-6 at Rec Hall.
 
Friday's match will be played in the South Gym with Saturday's tilt to be played in the main gym.

LAST TIME OUT
Penn State took down George Mason 3-1 and 3-0 at Rec Hal Feb. 26-27 to sweep an important midseason EIVA series between the top two teams in the EIVA standings entering the weekend.
 
The Penn State pin-hitter duo of Cal Fisher and Brett Wildman combined for 33 kills in last Friday's match. In match two, Penn State had a balanced n potent attack with middle blocker Canyon Tuman putting down seven kills to sweep the Patriots.
 
THE MATCHUP
Penn State leads the all-time series 9-0 over Charleston. The Nittany Lions took down the Golden Eagles 3-0 in their last meeting Feb. 29, 2020.
 
IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Cal Fisher was named the EIVA Offensive Player of the Week and Cole Bogner was chosen Off the Block National Setter of the Week for their play last weekend. Fisher had 28 kills and four aces and Bogner's 73 assists helped Penn State hit .325 and .329 in their two wins.
