Cross Country Receives USTFCCCA Academic Recognition

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Thursday that the Penn State men's and women's cross country teams have been named All-Academic Teams.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinctions, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The Penn State women's team compiled a GPA of 3.57 and the men's team compiled a GPA of 3.24. 

Overall, there were 255 women's teams and 220 men's teams that received All-Academic honors in NCAA Division I.
