UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's soccer team earned a well-deserved at-large bid to the 2020-21 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament announced Monday afternoon in the NCAA's live selection show.
The Nittany Lions, who enter the national tournament with an 8-1-2 record, will face the Minutemen of the University of Massachusetts on Sunday, May 2 in the second round of action. UMass, of the Atlantic 10 Conference, has an overall record of 7-1-3 and also received an at-large bid.

The game will be played in Greensboro, N.C. at 1 p.m. on the campus of UNC Greensboro and Penn State will be considered the home team.Broadcast information for the match will be announced at a later date.
The entirety of the 2020-21 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament is being held in the Cary, N.C. area, as is the women's tournament.
Penn State makes its 34th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament, including in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2013-14.
The Nittany Lions are 28-32-1 all-time in the NCAA Tournament. In 2019, No. 10-seed Penn State fell to Providence in the second round at Jeffrey Field.
