UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's lacrosse senior Mac O'Keefe earned his third-career All-Big Ten honor on Friday, landing a spot on the first team. The NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer earned first-team recognition in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons with the Nittany Lions.
O'Keefe is the NCAA Division I record holder with 219 career goals, which have come in 65 games played. That eclipses the previous record of 212 goals, which was set in 75 games. He has added 47 assists to give him an impressive 266 points in his career. That ranks second in program history.
O'Keefe leads Penn State in goals this season with 27 while adding five assists, 19 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. He scored multiple goals in each of the past eight games, including four in a win over Johns Hopkins and six in a win over Michigan.
