UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State track & field team wrapped up its regular season schedule on Friday when the team hosted the Jim Thorpe Invite.

On a rainy day in Happy Valley, several Nittany Lions recorded strong performances in the meet.

Erica Ellis placed third, setting her own personal record with a 4.03m (13-2.5) jump. It marks the second week in a row that Zurich and Ellis set personal best marks. Also recording a personal best was Ryann Brundage, who won the women's javelin with a throw of 43.20m (141-9).

On the men's side, Lucciano Pizarro recorded Penn State's biggest shot put throw of the year, clearing his personal best by over a meter with a mark of 18.63 (61-1.5). In his final home meet at Penn State, David Lucas got the victory in the men's discus with a throw of 56.42m (185-9).
