ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Penn State women's basketball program will play five "double-play" opponents and eight "single-play" opponents which comprises the upcoming Big Ten's 18-game women's basketball schedule. The Big Ten office announced the opponent formats for 2021-22 on Thursday, June 17.
The Lady Lions are scheduled to play home and away games against Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Rutgers in 2021-22. Penn State will host Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota to complete its nine-game home Big Ten schedule. Away game, single-play opponents include Indiana, Ohio State, Purdue and Wisconsin.
Dates, network assignments and times for the Big Ten contests will be announced later this year.
