Baldwin Earns Academic All-District At-Large Honor

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Jack Baldwin, a recently graduated member of the Penn State men's gymnastics team, was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Team. Baldwin graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning a degree in mechanical engineering.

Baldwin adds the award to an already impressive academic resume. He was the recipient of the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Elite 90 Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at their respective NCAA Championships event. It was the fourth-straight year the honor was won by a Penn State men's gymnast.

With his 4.0 GPA, Baldwin was a three-time recipient of the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar award and earned three Academic All-Big Ten honors.

Athletically, Baldwin was a mainstay in Penn State's starting lineup while competing on pommel horse. He helped the team win the Big Ten title in 2019 and competed in three NCAA Championships. He concluded his career with his best finish at the national meet, tying for eighth on pommel horse.
