University Park, Pa. - The Penn State men's swimming and diving teams will travel to Columbus, Ohio this weekend to compete in their third meet of the season where they face three different opponents. They Nittany Lions are set to compete against all three teams at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30.
On Friday, the men's team will compete at 5 p.m. They will also compete on Saturday at 10am. Live stats will be available through the Meet Mobile app.
The men's team is coming into this meet with two wins under their belt. The Nittany Lions defeated West Virginia, 161-132, on October 16.
The Nittany Lions
The Nittany Lions are coming into their third meet after capturing nine individual event titles and one relay event against West Virginia. The team is ranked No. 25 in the CSCAA Preseason Poll. Michael Daly assisted in the win for the 400-yard medley relay and he placed first in the 100 Yard Butterfly. Victor Baganha also helped win the 400-Yard Medley Relay and won the 100-Yard Butterfly. Lachlan Byrne also finished first in two events: the 100-Yard Backstroke and the 200 Yard Backstroke.
Scouting the Opponents
Ohio State is ranked No. 11 in the CSCAA Poll. This will be the Buckeyes' first meet of the season.
Indiana enters the meet with a 2-0 record, coming off wins against Kentucky and Northwestern. The Hoosiers are ranked No. 5 in the CSCAA Poll.
Virginia Tech is 2-0, coming off wins against Georgetown and Duke. The Hokies sit 12th in the CSCAA Poll.

The Nittany Lions will host Bloomsburg University next Saturday, November 6, in McCoy Natatorium for their fourth meet of the season.
