Women’s Lacrosse Welcomes Eight on Signing Day

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State women's lacrosse program bolstered their squad with eight new additions on National Signing Day Wednesday.
 
The 2022 signing class features five midfielders, two attackmen and one defender. There are signees from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, New York, Canada, and Haiti.

Katie Beatty

Beatty has played lacrosse for 9 years total…was the only freshman in her class to start on the team at Avon High School and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year…her team made it to the Sweet 16 and was 2nd team All-Region in 2019…played on the Brine National Team in Summer 2020… in 2021 was 2x conference Player of the Week, Max Preps Player of the Week, Conference Player of the Year…1st team All-Conference and 2nd team All-State…team conference champions in 2021.
