WINTHROP, Mass. – Penn State women's hockey senior Natalie Heising was selected the CHA Forward of the Month of November as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Heising, who was named the CHA Forward of the Week Monday, has continued her great fifth-year season by recording 11 points (5G, 6A) in six games during the month. Penn State was 4-2 in that span.
Not only did Heising lead the Nittany Lions in offensive production for the month, but her efforts have rewritten the Penn State record books. She scored the game-winning overtime goal Nov. 19 at Syracuse for her 62nd career goal, moving her into sole possession of the program's all-time goals record.
The Wayzata, Minn. native tallied four points with three goals in Penn State's two games against ranked opponents at D1 in D.C. In Penn State's 3-2 win over No. 7/6 Minnesota Duluth Nov. 26, Heising scored twice, including the game-tying goal in the third period.
Heising has 11 goals and 21 points in the 2021-22 season, both being team highs for Penn State and tying the CHA league.
The Nittany Lions return to the ice with a Dec. 9-10 series at New Hampshire to conclude its 2021 half of the season.
