Swimming & Diving to Face Bloomsburg This Weekend  
The Nittany Lions take on the Huskies at home on Saturday at 1pm. 
 
University Park, Pa. - The Penn State Swim and Dive team will host the Bloomsburg Huskies to compete in their sixth meet of the season. The Nittany Lions are set to compete against Bloomsburg at McCoy Natatorium on Saturday, November 6 at 1pm.

Men
The men's team is coming into this meet with two wins under their belt. 
 
Last weekend they traveled to Columbus, OH where they faced a tough field of Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and Indiana. The Nittany Lions came in fourth place at the meet.
 
Senior Michael Daly was a standout performer at Ohio State as he placed first in the 400 Yard IM with a time of 3:52.03. Daly placed third in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 1:48.11. In addition, he placed fourth in the in the 200 Yard Back with a time of 1:45.44. 
 
Women 
The women return to McCoy Natatorium after a pair of road wins against Liberty and ECU. The Nittany Lions placed first in 17 individual events and swept the relays, leading them to a 301-128 and a 340-72 victory over Liberty and ECU. 
 
Senior Marie Schobel remains undefeated in individual backstroke events this season as she swept these events this past weekend winning the 50 back (25.53), 100 back (53.93) and 200 back (1:57.21). 
 
Graduate student Maddie Cooke and junior Abigail Amdor also stood out last weekend, each winning two individual events. Ambor won the 100 and 200 free in 50.91 and 1:50.61, while Cooke placed first in the 100 IM (57.63) and the 50 breast (28.99). Schobel, Cooke, and Amdor lead Penn State as they prepare to face Bloomsburg on Saturday. 
            
Bloomsburg
Both the men and women come into this weekend after losses against West Chester. Last week, the men fell 106-99 and the women were defeated 125-75. Both teams are currently 0-1. 
 
Next Up
Both the men's and women's swim and dive teams will travel to North Carolina for the North Carolina State Invitational where they will face several opponents over the course of three days from Thursday, November 18 through Saturday, November 20.
