UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The second half of the Big Ten men's lacrosse schedule was announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Penn State's potion of the slate includes three home games and two on the road.
Additionally, the league announced TV designations for what's remaining of the regular season schedule. The Lions are featured in four of those games, including three on ESPNU and one on Big Ten Network.
In total, seven games remain on Penn State's regular season schedule, including two road games to wrap up the first half portion that was released prior to the season. The Lions head to Johns Hopkins on Saturday for a game that will air on ESPNU at noon. They follow that with a game at Michigan on Saturday. March 20.
The second half of the schedule starts with another game against Johns Hopkins on ESPNU, this time at Panzer Stadium on Sunday, March 28.
Following the game against the Blue Jays, the Lions turn their attention to two games against opponents that currently sit atop of the Big Ten standings through three games. They go on the road to play Maryland on Saturday, April 3, and will host Rutgers on Saturday, April 10.
Penn State's final two games of the season will be on TV. The Lions host Michigan on Friday, April 16 on Big Ten Network, and will play at Ohio State on Saturday, April 24 on ESPNU.
The 2021 Big Ten Tournament will include all six conference teams, with the top two teams in the standings at the end of the regular season receiving a first-round bye. The quarterfinal rounds will be hosted at the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds on Saturday, May 1. The semifinals (May 6) and final (May 8) will be hosted at Penn State's Panzer Stadium.
Penn State won the most recently competed Big Ten Tournament in 2019.
