Penn State Athletics to Survey Students Regarding the Football Ticketing Process

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Athletics will be embarking on a student survey related to football ticketing, gate entry, seating and other game day elements. Athletics worked in consultation with student affairs to develop the survey, which will be sent to a cross section of students via their Penn State email address.

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics will be evaluating all aspects of student ticketing for football games in search of opportunities to improve the student experience for the 2022 season and beyond. The survey, which will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, will cover a variety of topics as part of an overall evaluation of the football student ticketing process.

Penn State Athletics recognizes there may be various elements with room for improvement which may have been challenging in the past. Athletics will be evaluating the student ticket sale process, student ticket management, gate entry into Beaver Stadium and seating protocols in the Beaver Stadium student section. Athletics' goal is to provide the smoothest ticketing procedures as possible for students, while also maintaining a safe and orderly experience on game day for students and our entire fan base in attendance.

The Penn State student section is a huge part of Penn State Football's game day experience. The student section has been selected as the "The Nation's No. 1 Student Section" by ESPN The Magazine and won the 2019 Taco Bell Live Más Student Section of the Year. Student section season tickets are in high demand and typically sell out within minutes of going on sale.
