UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After three weeks on the road, the Penn State women's gymnastics returns home to Rec Hall to take on Maryland in a Big Ten dual meet on Saturday.
The meet is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. on BTN. Dean Linke and Olivia Karas will be on the call.

A LOOK BACK AT THE BIG FIVE MEET
The Nittany Lions hit the 196-point mark for the second time this year, posting their second highest score of the season, 196.125. The team recorded scores above 49.0 on three out of for events.
The evening started on bars, where the Nittany Lions once again reached the 49-mark with a 49.050 score. Penn State has reached the milestone in every meet this season. Nikki Beckwith continued her hot streak on the apparatus with a team-leading 9.875 score.
Maddie Johnston followed with the team's best individual performance on beam this season, matching her career-high with a 9.875 score.
The team's best score of the night came on floor, where four Nittnay Lions posted scores above a 9.850 en route to a team score of 49.275. Freshman Isabella Salcedo recorded a 9.9 score in the event for the third time this season, the most by any Nittany Lion this year.
Fellow freshman Jessica Johanson recorded her first career 9.9 score in the nights final event, leading Penn State to a 49.050 score to close out the meet. The score earned Johanson her third event victory of the season.
Racking Up the 9.9s
The Nittany Lions have added ten additions to their 9.9 wall, with Isabella Salcedo recording three 9.9 scores, Alissa Bonsall and Lauren Bridgens recording scores of 9.9+ twice each this season. Kourtney Chinnery (vault), Nikki Beckwith (bars) and Jessica Johanson (vault) have each recorded one 9.9 score.
NEW FACES
Penn State added eight athletes to the roster for the 2022 season. Isabella Salcedo and Elina Vihrova were named Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch ahead of their first meet as Nittany Lions. The duo is among seven gymnasts in Penn State's freshman class. Penn State also welcomed sophomore Sarah Duhe, a transfer from the University of Alabama.
