The Nittany Lions enter as the seventh-ranked team in the nation, while the Wolverines are ranked fourth.

SERIES HISTORY
• Penn State leads 13-12 in a series that began in 1958.
• The Wolverines won the past three meetings, while the Lions won the two meets in the series prior to that.
