UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Due to anticipated precipitation and temperatures, Penn State baseball's weekend series schedule against Rutgers has been adjusted. The Nittany Lions and the Scarlet Knights are set to begin their Big Ten slates at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
Penn State and Rutgers will now play a doubleheader on Friday, beginning at 3 p.m. Both games will be nine innings.
The teams will meet as scheduled on Saturday at 5 p.m. with a broadcast on Big Ten Network.
No game will be played on Sunday.
