Penn State breaks school record at first day of NCAA Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The first day of the NCAA Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia are complete with the Nittany Lions breaking a school record in the 200 medley relay.
 
The 200 Medley team contributors were senior William Roberson, juniors Lachlan Byrne and Daniel Raisanen and freshman Victor Baganha.
 
The relay team came in 21st place and broke a school record with a time of 1:23.85. They broke the school record time of 1:24.0.  which they set at the Princeton Last Chance Meet on March 5th.

Thursday-50 Free, 200 IM, 200 Free 
Friday-400 IM, 100 Fly, 100 Breast, 400 Medley
Saturday-200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast 
 
The Nittany Lions will resume competition for prelims in the 50 free and 200 freestyle on Thursday morning.
