Penn State completes day two at NCAA Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The second day of the NCAA Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia has concluded.
 
Today the Nittany Lions swam in prelims in the 200 IM and 50 free. Senior Michael Daly competed in the 200 IM and came in 44th place with a time of 1:44.91. In the 50 free, freshman Victor Baganha came in 26th place with a time of 19.31. No individual swimmers qualified for finals.
 
During finals was the 200 free relay. Penn State's team contributors were Baganha, seniors William Roberson and Tommy Hurley and junior Lachlan Byrne. They were disqualified for an early take-off.

Friday-400 IM, 100 Fly, 100 Breast, 400 Medley
Saturday-200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast 
 
The Nittany Lions will resume competition tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. ET for prelims in the 400 IM, 100 fly, 100 breast and 400 medley.
