Q: What do you think were the factors that helped you spring for your touchdown catch?
A:Honestly, just relied on my preparation and falling back on my faith in God and just allowing him to play for me, and I'm making a play based on that moment.
Q: On a related note, on your touchdown completion, what does it say about your trust with Ryan Hilinski and how you fit in this offense so you're able to spring free and make a big play??
A: Me and Ryan, we've been working all offseason on vertical goes. Working on timing with that, and then him just laying out that perfect ball, body catch it for the weather and then going to make a play. It was just a perfect scenario.

Q: What did it mean to you guys to force so many turnovers in this game which was obviously a big one going on the road playing the number 11 team in the country. What did it mean to you guys to force five turnovers and keep the team in it?
A: That we work on every week, with emphasis every single practice that we execute. A lot of guys stepped up and made huge plays, so it's awesome to see that.
Q: I felt like you guys were kind of flying all over the field today going sideline to sideline. What did you see from the linebacking unit and how do you hope to use this performance going forward?
A: Yeah, I mean everyone showed great effort. The group's goal game, I think that's something we need to keep going. Definitely an emphasis that we will keep playing in the Big Ten to be invincible.
