42nd Annual Temple Open Wraps Up in Philadelphia 
Men's events conclude weekend action for Nittany Lion fencers 
 
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams traveled to Philadelphia this past weekend to participate in the 42nd Annual Temple Open. The women's events were held on Saturday and the men's events on Sunday. 

Konner Paik led the men in foil placing seventh overall with Arwen Borowiak at eighth place, Aidan Johnson at 10th and Caiden Cannon at 14th. 
 
In men's epee, Jonathan Piskovatskov took 14th place with teammates Zachary Suico and Vasil Ivakimov following close behind at 18th and 20th place. 
 
Neil Lilov finished in 19th place in men's sabre with Carlos Fernando Chacon at 27th place overall.
 
The Nittany Lions are back at home this coming weekend, Nov. 5-6, for the Garret Penn State Open. This two-day event will take place at the White Building with action beginning at 8 a.m. both days.
