Nittany Lions in the NFL: Divisional Round Recap

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 43 Penn State football alumni are populating the rosters of 22 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions annually rank among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL.
 
Four Nittany Lions are members of teams that made it to the NFL's conference championship games. Three of the four teams remaining feature Penn State alumni.
 
Conference championship teams with Nittany Lions on their rosters include: 49ers (K Robbie Gould, DT Kevin Givens), Bengals (TE Nick Bowers), Eagles (RB Miles Sanders).

Game 1 (3 p.m. – FOX): San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles

DIVISIONAL ROUND RECAP
 
Miles Sanders and the Eagles rushing attack gouged the Giants for 268 yards on the ground in their dominant win over the weekend. Robbie Gould extended his perfection from wild card weekend into the divisional round, making all five kicks he attempted, including a 50-yard field goal. Although the Cowboys ultimately fell to the 49ers, Micah Parsons posted four tackles, defended a pass, and picked up a quarterback hit.
