UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's golf team returns to the Sunshine State for the second-straight weekend Saturday and Sunday when the Nittany Lions compete in the Florida Gators Invitational.
 
An 8 a.m. modified shotgun start kicks off tournament action Saturday at Florida's 70-par, 6,701-yard Mark Bostick Golf Course. Penn State is one of 13 teams in the strong field of the 54-hole stroke play tournament.
 
Penn State will be represented by Patrick Sheehan, Jake Griffin, James Allen, Jimmy Meyers and Morgan Lofland. The Nittany Lions are coming off a strong spring-opening weekend at Big Ten Match Play as Penn State collected two match victories over Maryland and Nebraska on the final day of competition.
 
The Nittany Lions are set to compete in the Gators Invitational for the fourth-straight spring. Live scoring will be available throughout the event on GolfStat.
