UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Fans who attend the 2023 Blue-White Game, presented by Highmark, will have a variety of activities to participate in over the weekend.
The Blue-White Game will kick at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 in Beaver Stadium. Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. Admission to the Blue-White Game is free. Fans will enter through gates A, B, C and E, which will open at noon.
Normal Bag Policy in Place for Blue-White Game
Penn State University's normal bag policy will be in place for the Blue-White Game. Clear tote bags, which can be sized 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller, will be permitted. In addition, a 4" x 6" x 1" small clutch or wristlet will continue to be permissible. Complete information on the updated bag policy can be found here.
Blue-White Boardwalk
The Blue-White Boardwalk, the official Penn State Football game day fan festival, will be back for the 2023 Blue-White Game. The Boardwalk includes food vendors, carnival games and free carnival rides such as a ferris wheel, giant slide, tilt-a-whirl and more. Fans will also be able to enjoy live music, face painting, balloon artists, photo booths and caricature drawings all for free.
The Blue-White Boardwalk will open to the public at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 14 and will run until 9 p.m. It will then reopen at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, and close at 7 p.m. The Boardwalk will be located in the upper corner of the Bryce Jordan East Parking Lot (Football Parking Lot 41) between Beaver Stadium and Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Carnival games will only accept cash, while food vendors will accept both cash and credit card.
Fans will have a chance to pick up the 2023 Football Spring Poster, which will be handed out at the Penn State Athletics Tent at the Blue-White Boardwalk, while supplies last.
Parking and Traffic
Parking passes for regular vehicles and RVs for the Blue-White Game were included in season parking booklets for the 2022 season. Pass holders will have priority parking in Lots 17, 18, 31 and 41 from 8 a.m. to noon. At noon, these lots will begin accepting day of game sales. All other lots near Beaver Stadium will open at 8 a.m. for day of game sales. There is ADA parking reserved in Lots 17,18, 31 and 41.
Fans attending the Blue-White Game without a parking pass will be charged $20 per regular vehicle. Cash or card sales will be accepted at the parking lots. Car parking passes will be available for advanced purchase at the Athletic Ticket Office at the Bryce Jordan Center. Athletic Ticket Office hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. RV passes will not be sold in advance of game day.
RV parking is restricted to the overnight RV lot. Passes for the RV were only distributed to those who had a 2022 season RV pass. Day of game RV parking will cost $60. Those who arrive to the ORV lot on Friday without a pass will owe $40 for a companion car for two-night parking and $100 for RV two-night parking.
Normal game day traffic patterns are not in effect for the Blue-White Game.
Apparel and Equipment Sale
The Blue-White Apparel and Equipment Sale, which will include team-issued apparel and equipment, will run on April 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or while supplies last at Pegula Ice Arena and is open to the public. The sale is coordinated by Lion Surplus. Fans wishing to shop the equipment sale can enter Pegula Ice Arena through Gate A. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted at the sale.
Parking will be available for the Blue-White Apparel and Equipment Sale starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 in the Shields and Wagner lots. All parking decks will be open 24/7. East Parking Deck will have a rate of $1 per hour for the first 2 hours and then will be a flat rate of $20 thereafter for the day. Parking in any surface lots will be $20 for the day.
Public Skate at Pegula Ice Arena
A public skate session for families and tailgaters will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 at Pegula Ice Arena. Passes cost $20, including skate rental. Entry for the public skate session will be through Gate C.
New Season Ticket Open House
A special open house to purchase new season tickets will run Monday to Thursday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) the week of the Blue-White Game. Fans can stop by the ticket office at gate E at Beaver Stadium to view open seat locations. The first 100 fans will receive a special Penn State t-shirt. Legacy Plaza
Penn State Athletics has announced the addition of the all-new Legacy Plaza, which is scheduled to be completed before the 2023 football season. The Legacy Plaza will be located on Curtin Road, next to the famed south endzone tunnel.
The area will honor the rich history of Penn State Football, which includes 136 seasons, 920 total wins (8th all-time), two national championships, 13 undefeated seasons, 52 bowl appearances (10th), 31 bowl wins (T-4th), 101 first-team All-Americans, 30 national award winners and a Heisman Trophy winner.
Fans will have the opportunity to leave their own legacy and be a part of Penn State history by ordering a paver to be displayed in Legacy Plaza. Pavers will come in three different sizes, with or without a logo. Each paver purchased will come with a replica and certificate of recognition, which will be mailed to the purchaser for display. Logo selections include a Nittany Lion head logo, a Letterman's Club logo (Football Lettermen only) or a Varsity 'S' logo (alumni varsity athletes only). Fans will be able to customize a message for the paver they purchase.

Four Penn State Teams in Action on Blue-White Weekend
Four additional Penn State Athletics teams will be in action during Blue-White Weekend, which is highlighted by the men's gymnastics team hosting the NCAA Championships.

Beaver Stadium Run Special Olympics
The Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run for Special Olympics Pennsylvania will be held on April 16 to conclude Blue-White Weekend, where more than 3,500 runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will participate in a 5K run or 2-mile family fun walk. Proceeds from the run benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania and the 13,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The run begins in the vicinity of the Bryce Jordan Center on Curtin Road, moves through Penn State's scenic campus, and concludes with runners racing through the Beaver Stadium Tunnel and onto the field at the 50-yard line.
The Blue-White Game is Penn State University's unofficial annual spring reunion. In 2022, an estimated 62,000 fans were in attendance. The Blue-White Game has drawn more than 60,000 fans in eight of the last nine years, which included crowds of 70,000 or more in four of the last seven years.
