UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.– The 17th-ranked Penn State men's lacrosse team rallied a six-goal comeback in the fourth quarter to defeat 10th-ranked Penn 15-9 on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Penn State started off strong with three straight goals in the first quarter with two coming from Kevin Winkoff to give the Nittany Lions a 3-0 lead with 6:03 remaining.
- Penn answered with four unanswered goals to take a 4-3 lead with 13:10 remaining in the second quarter.
- Jack Posey scored the Nittany Lions first goal in the quarter with 5:51 remaining in the half to even the game up at 4-4.
- Penn added two goals before Winkoff scored his third goal of the game to close out the half with 1:54 remaining with the score at 6-5 in favor of Penn.
- The teams went back and forth in the scoring in the third quarter to notch the game at 9-9 heading into the final quarter.
- Penn State then went on a six-goal scoring run including two by Jack Traynor to secure the 15-9 victory.

- Jack Fracyon allowed nine goals an tallied nine saves to capture his fourth win of the season.
