Posey Named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. - Penn State men's lacrosse senior defenseman Jack Posey was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
This is the senior's first Big Ten weekly award honor this season and in his career. The South Reading, Va. product tallied two goals against tenth-ranked Penn which is a single-game high for the defenseman. He also scooped two ground balls and forced one turnover in the game.
 
On the year, Posey has two goals off two shots and has scooped 12 ground balls and forced four turnovers.
 
Penn State returns to action on Saturday, March 11 when they travel to face third-ranked Cornell. First face-off is set for noon.
