UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The fifth-ranked Penn State men's lacrosse team travels to Ann Arbor to take on 15th-ranked Michigan on Sunday, April 16 at 6 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY

  • Penn State currently leads the series 9-2 as this will be the 12th meeting between both teams.

  • Graduate student TJ Malone tallied a single-game high eight points in Saturdays 12-11 double overtime victory over Johns Hopkins.
  • On the season, Malone currently leads the team in points and assists with 47 and 23 respectively.
  • He sits second on the team in caused turnovers with eight on the year as well.

WINKOFF WITH THE GAME-WINNER

  • Graduate student Kevin Winkoff was the hero of the Nittany Lions victory over Johns Hopkins.
  • The Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. native scored the game-tying and game-winning goals securing the 12-11 victory for the Nittany Lions in double overtime.
  • On the year, Winkoff tallies 14 goals alongside nine assists for a total of 23 points. His two goal affair was his third straight multi-goal game of the season.

  • Following the victory over Johns Hopkins, the Nittany Lions broke the top five in both the USILA and Inside Lacrosse polls this week.
  • The Nittany Lions were fifth in the USILA poll and Inside Lacrosse poll.
