Fracyon Named to USILA Team of the Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse sophomore goaltender Jack Fracyon was named to the USILA Team of the Week for this past week of play as announced by the association on Wednesday. This is the second USILA Team of the Week honor a member of the team has received. 
 
Fracyon, who was recently named Big Ten Specialist of the Year and Week recorded 17 saves and allowed a career single game low five goals against 11th-ranked Rutgers on Friday which aided in the Nittany Lions 14-5 victory over the Scarlet Knights. He also scooped two ground balls in the win as well. The win secured the Nittany Lions second Big Ten Regular Season championship in program history. 
 
On the year, Fracyon stands with a 9-3 overall record, 10.03 GAA and save percentage of .582.
 
Fracyon and the rest of the Nittany Lions return to action on Thursday, May 4 when they travel to Baltimore, Md. to face the winner of Michigan and Ohio State to play in the Big Ten semifinals at 1 p.m.
