Wahab brings 1,030 career points and 737 career rebounds to Happy Valley, having played in 119 collegiate games while making 88 starts between three seasons at Georgetown and one at Maryland.

A starter at Georgetown this past season, Wahab averaged 9.6 points and a team-best 7.1 rebounds per game while shooting upwards of 50 percent from the field during the 2022-23 campaign. He tallied 15 double-digit scoring efforts and four double-doubles while playing an average of 23.5 minutes per contest.

The Lagos, Nigeria native played the 2021-22 season at Maryland, starting in 31 of 32 games for the Terrapins. Wahab was named to the 2022 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award Watch List and averaged 7.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Terps while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor.

Wahab played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Georgetown. He played a key role in guiding the Hoyas to the 2021 BIG EAST Tournament Championship as a sophomore, earning a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament team. Wahab averaged 12.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while shooting 59.1 percent during the 2020-21 season. He recorded 19 double-digit scoring games that included a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double in an NCAA Tournament game against Colorado. Wahab made an immediate impact upon arrival at Georgetown, playing in 32 games as a freshman in 2019-20 and averaging 5.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Prior to his collegiate career, Wahab played two seasons at Virginia Academy before spending his junior and senior seasons at Flint Hill. He averaged a double-double and led Flint Hill to back-to-back conference regular-season titles while earning first-team All-State honors.

Rhoades on Wahab: "We can't wait to get to work with Qudus this summer.  He brings a level of experience and ability that we want in our program.  I have known and watched Qudus for quite some time and am excited to see him in our style of play.  He will impact our success from day one both on and off the court."
