UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State baseball team's game against Iowa on Sunday, April 30 has been canceled due to rainy conditions.
The teams split a doubleheader on Saturday with Penn State falling 9-6 in game one, but earning an 8-4 victory in game two.
In game one, Penn State took a 5-3 lead but Iowa took the lead with a grand slam in the fifth.
In game two, Kyle Hannon (solo) and Grant Norris (three-run) launched homers to lead the PSU offense.
The Nittany Lions travel to Rutgers next weekend, May 5-7, to continue Big Ten play. Friday and Saturday games are scheduled for 6 p.m. and Sunday's series finale is set for 2 p.m. All games will be broadcast on B1G+.
Penn State returns to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on May 18-20 against Maryland.
