Aire played his freshman season for Miami (Fla.), seeing action in 14 games during the Hurricanes' 2022-23 run to the Final Four.

A former consensus four-star prospect, Aire was ranked as the No. 61 recruit in his class nationally by Rivals and the No. 112 recruit nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was tabbed as the third-highest ranked prospect in the state of Maryland by Rivals and the fourth-highest ranked recruit in Maryland by both 247Sports and ESPN.

A McDonald's All-American Game nominee, Aire played for Bishop McNamara High School where he was named Washington Post First-Team All-Met after averaging 16.0 points per game and accumulating 24 double-doubles during his senior season. Aire led Bishop McNamara to the WCAC title game while serving as a team captain. He played on the AAU circuit for New World Basketball.

Rhoades on Aire: "We are very excited to have Favour join our team.  His size, athleticism and versatility are exactly what we were looking for in this position. Favour is a great fit for both our basketball family and the Penn State community.  I can't wait to get Favour on campus and get to work with him."
