Swimming’s Emma and Jack Harvey Set To Compete At CAC Games

EL SALVADOR – Penn State swimmers Emma and Jack Harvey will represent Bermuda at the Central American and Caribbean Games from June 24-28 in El Salvador.

Emma will compete in the 50 Backstroke and 4x100 Mixed Relay on Saturday, June 24. She will also compete in the 100 Backstroke on Sunday, 100 Freestyle on Monday, 100 Butterfly on Tuesday and 4x100 Freestyle Relay, 50 Freestyle and 50 Butterfly on Wednesday.
 
Jack will race in the 100 Freestyle and 4x100 Mixed Relay on Saturday, 100 Backstroke on Monday, 200 Backstroke on Tuesday and 200 Freestyle and 50 Backstroke on Wednesday.
 
The brother and sister duo recently competed at the Bermuda National Championships, winning a combined nine events.
 
Emma won five events, setting national records in the 50 Butterfly (27.09), 50 Backstroke (28.91) and 100 Butterfly (1:00.70), while setting a personal record in the 100 Freestyle (56.95) and posting a 26.11 in the 50 Freestyle.
 
Jack claimed first in four events. He broke his own record in the 200 Backstroke (2:04.01) and picked up victories in the 50 Backstroke (26.74), 100 Backstroke (56.88) and 200 Freestyle (1:54.87). He owns three national records.
