Women’s Gymnastics Has 16 Recognized as WCGA All-America Scholar Athletes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's gymnastics team placed 16 members of its squad on the WCGA All-America Scholar Athlete list, as announced by the organization on Thursday.
 
Penn State came in fourth in the Big Ten and 25th in the nation with a 3.6574 team GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.
 
The Nittany Lion WCGA All-America Scholar Athlete honorees are as follows: Maggie Ayers, Nikki Beckwith, Amy Bladon, Natalie Cross, Sarah Duhe, Gabbie Gallentine, Grace Harrell, Jessica Johanson, Maddie Johnston, Maggie Mace, Ava Piedrahita, Bella Romagnano, Cassidy Rushlow, Isabella Salcedo, Elina Vihrova, and Olivia Yarussi.
 
Student-athletes earned WCGA All-America Scholar Athlete recognition by either compiling a 3.5 cumulative GPA or achieving a 3.5 GPA in the 2022-23 academic year.
