Baseball Announces Fall Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State baseball, led by head coach Mike Gambino, is set to play two games as part of its Fall schedule.
 
The Nittany Lions will open their Fall slate on Friday, Sept. 15 at West Virginia with a 5:30 p.m. first pitch. Penn State split its season series against the Mountaineers in 2023, including an 11-6 win over WVU on April 11. WVU finished the 2023 campaign with a 40-20 record and an appearance in the NCAA Lexington Regional.
  
The Nittany Lions close out the Fall on Sunday, Oct. 15 at Bucknell, scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start. The Bison went 23-23-1 in 2023, finishing second in the Patriot League.
 
Mike Gambino was hired in July 2023 as the 15th head coach in Penn State baseball history.
 
Penn State returns 22 members from the 2023 team. The Nittany Lions welcome 18 newcomers, including nine transfers and nine freshmen.
