UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.  – The Penn State men's golf team travels to Durham, N.C. Sunday and Monday for Duke's Rod Myers Invitational.

The 54-hole event will be played at the par-72, 7,154 yard Duke University Golf Club. The Nittany Lions will tee off from hole 10 on Sunday beginning at 7:30 a.m., while Monday's final-round tee times are set to start at 8 a.m.

Penn State is competing in the Rod Myers Invitational for the sixth time in the last seven years. The tournament is named for the longtime Duke men's golf coach who lost his battle with leukemia in 2007. Penn State won the event in the fall of 2018.

The 12-team field features Penn State, host Duke, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Louisville, Loyola (Md.), NC State, Princeton, UNCG, UNCW and Virginia Tech.

The Nittany Lions have two fall tournaments already under their belts, most recently competing in Wake Forest's Chicago Highlands Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. Patrick Sheehan has led the way for Penn State thus far this fall, finishing tied for sixth at the season-opening Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills and tied for 12th at the Chicago Highlands Invitational.

Live scoring of the Rod Myers Invitational will be available throughout the event via GolfStat.
