UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The 2023-24 Penn State men's basketball schedule is now complete as the Nittany Lions have announced a matchup with Georgia Tech at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, Dec. 16.
Tipoff of the non-conference clash from the "World's Most Famous Arena" is set for noon. The game will air nationally on the Big Ten Network.
A select allotment of Penn State section-specific tickets will be available, with ticket information and details to follow via email. Tickets purchased will also allow fans access to the other two games of the Holiday Festival, a Dec. 16 tripleheader at Madison Square Garden – St. John's vs. Fordham men's basketball at 3:30 p.m. and St. John's vs. Villanova women's basketball at 6 p.m.
The Nittany Lions return to Madison Square Garden for the first time since Penn State captured the 2018 National Invitational Tournament (NIT) crown.
Penn State and Georgia Tech will meet for the first time since 2016, a 67-60 Nittany Lion win inside the Bryce Jordan Center. Penn State owns a 3-1 record all-time against Georgia Tech.
The 2023-24 Penn State men's basketball season officially begins on Nov. 6 when the Nittany Lions host Delaware State at 7 p.m. inside the Bryce Jordan Center. Season tickets for 2023-24 men's basketball home games are on sale now. Partial ticket plans, featuring both three-game and six-game plans, are also on sale now, with single-game sales set to begin Oct. 17. Student season tickets will go on sale on Oct. 16.
