ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten conference announced tip times and television designations for the 2023-24 women's basketball season on Tuesday afternoon, with the Lady Lions tabbed for seven nationally televised contests on the Big Ten Network. Additionally, Penn State released game times for all 16 home contests in University Park.
The Lady Lions' fifth season under the direction of Head Coach Carolyn Kieger features seven nationally televised games on the Big Ten Network, with five of those contests taking place in Happy Valley. Penn State welcomes non-conference foe and defending WNIT champion Kansas to the Bryce Jordan Center on Monday, Nov. 13, in a televised affair beginning at 6 p.m. (ET). PSU then opens Big Ten Conference home competition in Happy Valley against Michigan State on Saturday, Dec. 30, with tipoff on BTN slated for 4 p.m. (ET).
B1G television action in Central Pennsylvania continues following the turn of the new year on Thursday, Jan. 18, as the Lady Lions welcome the Purdue Boilermakers for a 7 p.m. (ET) contest. Michigan comes to town on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. (ET), and the Blue & White close out the home portion of their national TV schedule on Thursday, Feb. 22, with the Ohio State Buckeyes traveling to the Bryce Jordan Center for a 6 p.m. (ET) fixture.
The Lady Lions are set to appear on the national stage twice in road competitions over the course of the 2023-24 campaign. Penn State travels to Evanston, Illinois, to challenge the Northwestern Wildcats on Thursday, Jan. 25, with tipoff scheduled for 8 p.m. (ET) on the Big Ten Network. The highlight of Penn State's slate away from University Park comes on Thursday, Feb. 8, as the Lady Lions square off against the defending B1G Tournament Champion and National Runner-Up Iowa Hawkeyes in a 9 p.m. (ET) affair.
Penn State's 2023-24 schedule features 11 games in Happy Valley set for streaming via B1G+, the official streaming platform of the Big Ten Conference. The Lady Lions' 60th season kicks off against Bucknell at 6 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, Nov. 7, followed by a Friday, Nov. 10 meeting against Navy beginning at 5 p.m. (ET). PSU continues home non-conference action on B1G+ against Providence (Nov. 26, 1 p.m.), Radford (Nov. 29, 6 p.m.) and Saint Francis (Dec. 17, 1 p.m.) before welcoming Central Connecticut State to the Bryce Jordan Center for Field Trip Day on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 11:30 a.m. (ET).
The Lady Lions will compete on B1G+ five times in Big Ten Conference home games, including matchups against Northwestern (Jan. 2, 6 p.m.), Nebraska (Jan. 21, 1 p.m.), Maryland (Jan. 28, 1 p.m.), Illinois (Feb. 15, 6 p.m.) and Minnesota (March 3, 1 p.m.). Penn State's remaining seven road conference games will also be broadcast live to a worldwide audience of authenticated subscribers via B1G+, with tip times to be announced at the opponent's discretion.
