UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's lacrosse announces its 2024 schedule. The Nittany Lions will play 15 games including seven home games. They will face six teams who made it to the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Penn State will open its regular season with an away game at Bucknell, their opening game last season which they won 16-6.
The Nittany Lions then have three consecutive home games. All three will be out of conference opponents including Colorado, Pittsburgh and Princeton.
The team will head on the road for their next five games. Penn State starts their travel with a mid-week game in Philadelphia against Drexel, followed by Loyola, both of which made it to the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Penn State continues their season at Rutgers, to be their first conference opponent of the campaign.
After finishing out their away game stretch against Lehigh and Cornell, Penn State will host Northwestern, the 2023 NCAA Champions at the end of March.
The Nittany Lions continue against their conference opponents with a game in Columbus against Ohio State. Then the team will face nonconference Vanderbilt, before facing Michigan at home.
To finish out the regular season, the team will travel to Maryland who they defeated 12-7 last season then they return to Panzer to match up against Johns Hopkins for their final game of the season.
The Big Ten Semifinals will be on Thursday, May 2 and the finals will take place on Saturday, May 5.
